BlackBerry Storm 2: new photos and "confirmation" by Jim Balsillie

New photos coming BlackBerry Storm 2, the upcoming full touchscreen device that RIM is likely to retain the character of the screen and Click should improve the defects of the first copy and add the much desired Wi-Fi. 

From the official side, however, there have been no comments yet on this new device, dubbed the Storm 2 but that could also change its name once formalized. The only news we receive are those of Jim Balsillie who admits that "RIM is working on a new touchscreen device seen the great success of the Storm."

A date for the Touch Pro by HTC II: June 12

It seems that the arrival of the Touch Pro II, the new smartphone with Windows Mobile HTC with touch screen and QWERTY, is now imminent, at least for the UK market. 

Expansys UK, in fact, has updated the page for the Touch Pro Pre-2 to a date, which seems definitive: 12 June. Not only have to wait for news from HTC Italy in the fall by saying that this smartphone will be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Nokia announces the entry level 2730, 2720 and 7020

As you are aware of the trends this year is the production of new models of phones to the market economic zone, mostly for the new emerging markets. These include new devices provided by Nokia, these are the: 2720, 2730 and 7020, all enabled network, services, and Nokia Ovi Mail Life Tools. 

The Nokia 2720 is a phone with a shell design with a screen having a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels and a 1.3 Megapixel camera. The 2730, however, is a candybar with 2 large screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and support for 3G networks. Finally, the 7020 is a phone with a shell design, large display 2.2 "with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, FM radio and 2 Megapixel camera. 

Will be sold short, respectively, for 55, 80 and 90 €

TV Mivvy Dual Touch, touchscreen phone with dual SIM card

His name is virtually unknown, the fact remains that Mivvy, a company in the Czech Republic, has launched the Touch Dual TV model that is aesthetically very similar to the HTC Diamond. Large 10.4 x 52.5 x 14.5 mm and weighing 90 grams, has a wide 2.6 touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The camera, however, snaps pictures with a maximum resolution of 1.3 Megapixels. 

The rest of the hardware sector is not very advanced: GPRS connectivity, file Mp3 player, FM radio and bluetooth is the most you can make. On the other integrates the TV tuner the battery, according to official data, allows autonomy of 4 hours talk time, 3 hours of TV or 140 hours on standby. The price in the Czech Republic is 160 €.

The Shot Aquos 933SH will be available in Japan soon, but if you are interested in this model (apart from that the camera has the particularity of being one of the few phones to have a touchscreen in a case a shell) you can start to inform you about 'import and the possibility to load a firmware, at least in English.

Samsung Galaxy: the i7500 name change

Let's go back to talking about the first GPhone Samsung: the Samsung i7500 recently renamed Galaxy. Just past the FCC, this smartphone has been a change of characteristics all registers because of that the French will have a preview. 

The Galaxy i7500, it is expected for publication in the first days of July in France. Still do not know the dates for Italy and if the launch will take place in contemporary Europe.

Philips X550 with battery 1 month of standby

Will be devoted mainly to China and to Eastern Europe, but I am sure that the new Philips X550 could affect other markets. This is a candbybar measuring 112 x 45 x 11.7 mm. Inside is a display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and over 260,000 colors. The camera, however, snaps pictures with a maximum resolution of 3.2 Megapixels with autofocus. 

Band for the economic market, it does not support modern 3G networks, but only the EDGE protocol. Among other specifications read memory expandability via microSD cards, FM radio and bluetooth. The battery, according to official data, allows a standby capacity of up to 1 month. Price not reported.
