RIM patents a system to rotate the keyboard of the BlackBerry

If we wanted to compare the physical and virtual keyboards with two horses, we could say that RIM has certainly bet on the horse first. The company famous for the construction of the BlackBerry, mobile business, by definition, never thought too much to the field of touchscreen.

Its customers are accustomed to using the small keys on the QWERTY keyboard. That is why the company invests in finding solutions in this area. The latest idea is collected by a patent, a system to rotate the physical keyboard.

While the touchscreen smartphone using the accelerometer to rotate the virtual keys, those of a physical keyboard can not be moved. The patent provides a system to move the keypad down and twist to make it more comfortable. Appropriate signs on the keys should guide the user to the proper use.
